As a major player in the cosmetics industry, our client is a Group specialising in cosmetics, hygiene products and dermatological care products and committed to sustainable beauty, accessible to all. Present in 150 countries on 5 continents, it employs over 86,000 people.
The client wanted to strengthen its management and its analysis & simulation capabilities by replacing an outdated workforce and payroll management tool. The Group needed to conduct a scoping phase for the new model to prepare its implementation in a performance management tool.
After analysing the existing system, a co-construction approach to identify the use cases was established to define the key principles of the target model for managing the workforce and payroll. This included: • Definition of the target perimeters for the workforce and personnel expenses & costs (extended vision) • Definition of the dimensions, analysis axes and main indicators • Definition of the roles and responsibilities of the various contributors (HR, Finance, Operations) in the budget preparation process • Definition of the main management and simulation rules for the various positions - Management of specific use cases (international mobility, management of vacant positions, etc.) • Definition of the main analyses and outputs • Definition of the architecture diagram
• Mobilisation of all stakeholders (HR, Finance and Operations) on the design of the target model • Structuring the key principles of the workforce and payroll management around the main use cases • A highly solution-oriented approach to ensure its operational feasibility
