No. 1 in its sector in Europe and No. 2 worldwide, this customer saw a new majority shareholder take a stake in its capital, with a view to accelerating its performance, development and digital transformation. The finance department therefore launched an initiative to overhaul the management of operational performance, in close interaction with a project to set up a technical platform by the IT department.
The project was designed to meet three challenges. - Modernising the business intelligence system with a new data platform and data visualisation tools. - Facilitating user access to data and developing new uses such as SelfBI. - Improving the management and consistency of views by business unit/brand, by BU and at consolidated level.
Keyrus Management deployed a structured methodology to bring the project to success in 7 months: - Definition of the new KPIs and new areas of analysis by means of interviews with the various levels of responsibility, analysis of the existing reports and facilitation of workshops to overhaul the existing data base and adapt it to the steering target. - Preparing the new catalogue of reports, prioritising the use cases and mocking up the reports in close collaboration with the business and IT teams - Development of the new reports in Power BI, with increased project management support from the integrator, centralised pre-release of the data in Snowflake and pre-release of the reports before pre-release for the business units.
The project has provided the Group with new analytical capabilities to ensure the development and dissemination of best practice and the integration of new chains into the model.
